Long cold winter

This is the "Slow Snow" sliding off of the shop roof.  Ben a long cold winter but the shop has been busy.  I took on a contract for metal work projects for a local Wood Craft Store.  I also welded for three weeks straight making horseshoe art.  My new to me wire feed welder was a life saver.  Amazing the difference between 120v and a 240v machine.  A high quality welding helmet (and my glasses) sure made things more harmonious in the shop.  It helps to actually see what you are welding.

At the end of the day - you just gotta stop and take a look at what you've accomplished.  No hour ever spent in the shop is wasted.  There will always be enough demands on a guy so there is no sense doing today what can be put off until tomorrow.  That way you will always have some time in the shop!

Crank up the wood stove, turn on some good old Rock & Roll (none of this Techno Heifer Dust) and fabricate away an hour or two.  Dang site cheaper than an hour of Therapy.  Enjoy the moment - contemplate life or contemplate nothing at all -

Peace & Grease - now that's living the dream.........

I keep going back to this picture - I like it... I see something new every time.

I for one am tired of the OCC knock offs - each modern day chopper follows the same cookie cutter styles.

But this work of art - well it dares to step out of the typical, the norm, the accepted - a true Outlaw.  So you know the old saying, "Put up or shut up"? Well I'm going to attempt a "Rat" build ... I have a 1982 Yamaha 650 Seca that just might work.... when I get a moment...

    Hey there...

Thought this might be a good place to share some build ideas.  Grab a coffee and lets share some "Busted Knuckles" experiences.
